Big congratulations to our own PhD candidate, Niyazi Arslan, for receiving yet another prestigious PhD Scholarship from the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD). This scholarship supports PhD students in the dissertation phase of their doctoral program who intend to pursue an academic career in communication sciences and disorders.

The Auditory Implant Lab participated in #CIAP2023, where we had the honor of presenting four insightful posters and delivering one podium presentation. Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the conference and share our research findings.

We’re thrilled to announce that our own PhD candidate, Niyazi Arslan, has been awarded the prestigious 2022 New Century Scholars Doctoral Scholarship by the ASHFoundation, a philanthropic organization affiliated with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Our proposal titled “Neural Health and Pitch Perception with Cochlear Implants” has been chosen to receive the American Hearing Research Foundation’s Discovery Grant. For more information about the grant and our proposed research, please check out the announcement page.
