Niyazi O. Arslan is a Ph.D. candidate in Speech and Hearing Science working as a Graduate Research Associate in the Auditory Implant Lab at Arizona State University directed by Dr. Xin Luo. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Audiology from Bezmialem Vakif University and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Marmara University, and has also worked as an audiologist for cochlear implant services, all in Istanbul, Turkey. His current research interests include cochlear implants, auditory psychophysics, and the relationship between pitch perception and neural health.
